Diamond Valley Marina Reservation and General Use Policies
You must read and agree to the following policies before
making a reservation.
Reservation, Change and Cancellation Policies
- Reservations may be online made 72 hours in advance and up to 60
days out.
- Each online session that creates a confirmed reservation
will be charged $5.00 in addition to any fees or rental charges collected.
Reservation fee in non-refundable.
- Cancellation Policy - Cancellations must be made 8
days prior to your arrival date; you will receive a full refund minus the
$5.00 reservation fee and be charged a $5.00 cancellation fee. To cancel a
reservation, call Diamond Valley Marina at 951-926-7201. Please have your
reservation confirmation number prior to calling.
- Change Policy - If you need to change your
reservation you must call Diamond Valley Marina at 951-926-7201, 72 hours
prior to your arrival date, have your reservation confirmation number prior
to calling. A change fee of $5.00 will be assessed each time you
change your reservation.
- A confirmed reservation may not be cancelled within 7 days
or less of the arrival date.
- Confirmed reservations are not transferable
- Reservation fees and all access and rental charges must be
paid for at the time of reservation. Only Visa, MasterCard, Discover
or American Express credit card will be accepted for payment. ATM Check Cards
with the Visa or MasterCard logo can also be used.
- Confirmed reservations will receive a confirmation document
by e-mail, fax or US Postal service. Users must either print the
confirmation document or have their confirmation number with a photo ID to
resent to the entrance gate upon arrival in order to expedite entrance.
- Users making reservations to launch their personal boat
must have their boats inspected before launching. See website for
inspection criteria and locations.
- Reservations can be made online for boat rentals only at
any time. Boat launch, parking and fishing access fees can be paid at
the gate or marina.
- UPC reserves the right when necessary to modify reservation
policies.
- Metropolitan Water District and Diamond Valley Marina can
close the lake to boating at any time and the number of boats allowed on the
lake will be determined by lake elevation, public safety considerations and
water quality concerns.
Policy for Boat Rental Reservations
- I understand that one Vehicle Entrance Fee for parking will
be charged for each boat rented.
- I understand that I must be 18 years or older to rent a
boat.
- I understand that if there are additional cars in my party
that the $7.00 Vehicle Entry Fee can be paid at the gate.
- I understand that the maximum weight of all persons totaled
together in a basic fishing boat or deluxe bass boat is 650 lbs and up to 4
person may use the boat at one time as long as the weight limit is not
exceeded.
- I understand that the maximum weight of all persons totaled
together in a pontoon boat is 1800 lbs and up to 8 person may use the boat
at one time as long as the weight limit is not exceeded.
- I understand that I may arrive no earlier than my stated
boat rental start time, however I may arrive later if I prefer without
losing my reservation.
- I understand that Diamond Valley Lake is a zero-body
contact drinking water lake and that swimming, personal watercraft, water
skiing and float tubes are prohibited.
- I understand that floating sanitation facilities are
available in convenient locations around the lake. Portable toilets are not
allowed in vessels.
- I understand that each fisherman must have a MWD Daily
Fishing Access Pass in his/her possession for each day of fishing at Diamond
Valley Lake.
- I understand that all fishermen 16 years of age or older
must also possess and display a valid California DFG Fishing License.
- I understand the speed limit for all watercraft on Diamond
Valley Lake is 25 mph. The maximum speed for boats within 200 feet of shore,
dams, other operational structures and in the marina area is 5 mph.
- I understand that problem boaters may not be allowed to
return. Problems include reckless boating, returning after hours, destroying
property, littering, etc. Failure to follow rules will result in expulsion
from Diamond Valley Lake.
- I understand the Diamond Valley Marina has no control over
the weather. All reservation commitments must be honored regardless of
weather conditions.
- I understand that boat launching and landing is allowed
only at designated docks and ramps.
- I have read and understand the reservation change and
cancellation policies posted.
- I understand that a refundable damage deposit of $100.00
must be posted at the time of rental.
